As the institute of handling programs of dress and adornment designated by Shanghai municipal government, SIFC is responsible to undertake large-scale international fashion economic and cultural activities twice a year, including Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival and Shanghai Fashion Week annually. Both are sponsored by Shanghai municipal government.
