2006 Shanghai Fashion Week Expo has drawn from the expertises of external and internal large-scale fashion and textile expos, and put on another hit. This year, the organizer will put a strong emphasis on creating a one-stop integrated tradeshow that encompasses textile products, trade events and fashion shows. Another testament to the value of this year’s expo is the newly added National Hall ，International hall，Tongxiang wool/knitting hall and the Specialty Jewelry hall.

     The magical inception of the Designers Corridor at our 2005 Shanghai Fashion Week showed the world an indisputable truth, that is, though tender in its years, China’s fashion industry shows no lack of originality or creativity. This event, which was originated by the Shanghai International Fashion & Culture festival/Shanghai Fashion Week Committee, aims to cultivate and foster young Chinese designers. This has caused an eruption in the industry due to the unique concept and unequaled promotion. As a result it has now become an indispensable addition to the two biggest fashion events here in Shanghai
