This year Shanghai Fashion Week introduces a fresh new fashion landmark—The New Factories. This is soon to become another dreamland of fashion. The entire segment in front of Yuyao Rd is transformed into a 200-meter-catwalk upon which the most famous entertainment stars and super models putted on the most exciting performance.      The global final contest of Oriental International Model Contest held at the Grand Gateway Mall in Xiu Jia Hiu as the grand ceremony of 06 Shanghai fashion week . At this contest, international judgers and audiences choose the future super model together.

     At this year’s Fashion Week, there is an award ceremony for the top 30 most recognizable and trusted brands voted by consumers. The contest, which was led by Shanghai Economic & Trade Commission, ranked 100 name brands in 8 different categories. The Fashion Week Committee used statistics provided by more than 30 shopping malls, along with the help from industry experts and consumers to narrow down to these 30 finalists. The award ceremony held at the Grand Gateway Mall in Xiu Jia Hiu Square.
